After seeing the American Golfer collection from RL Polo Golf on Wednesday, I have found myself spending inordinate amounts of time online, reading about golfing legends from the first half of the 20th century. My favorite of the bunch is and always will be the opulent Walter Hagen - one of golf's great dandies. So this Friday Throwback is dedicated to him.

The first sportsman named to the list of Best Dressed Americans.
